Statement of Faith
As you consider investing your heart, time, family, and finances into the Full Turn Church, it is important for you to feel confident our beliefs.
Holy Bible
We believe that all Scripture is God breathed, inspired by the Spirit, testifies of Jesus, and is the authority upon which we base our faith and doctrine.
Trinity
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
God the Father
We believe God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.
God the Son
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross, was buried and rose again to prove His victory and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him.
God the Holy Spirit
Salvation
We believe that the Holy Spirit comforts and guides believers into all truth. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of spiritual gifts, and in the fruit of the Spirit at work in the lives of believers.
We believe Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
Resurrection
Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. as the first-fruit of all creation.
Water Baptism
We believe that water Baptism, along with communion, is sacramental. In Baptism, we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. We are also resurrected into the newness of life.
Communion
We believe in the regular taking of Communion. The bread and beverage represent the body and blood of Christ, and receiving communion is entering into communion with the community of believers.
Life with Purpose
We believe every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and being conformed to the image of Christ.
Abundant Life
We believe as children of God, we are overcomers and more than conquerors, and God intends for each of us to experience the abundant life He has in store for us.
